Public Sticks, Rings, & Pucks

CSA approved helmets are mandatory for skaters and non-skaters on the ice for all public arena ice activities.

Sticks, Rings, and Pucks is an unsupervised activity with assigned times for different age groups. Check the schedule closely.

Youth/Adult Sticks, Rings and Pucks (12 Years and Over)

  • Bring your stick, puck, or ring to work on puck handling and shooting skills.
  • Participants under 18 years old must wear full hockey equipment, including helmets.
  • Adults are required to wear a CSA approved helmet, gloves, long-sleeved shirt, and pants at a minimum.
  • Note: No organized games and no slap shots allowed.
  • Full Hockey/Ringette Equipment Consists of:

    hockey/ringette pants, jill or jock, shin pads, shoulder pads, neck guard, elbow pads, gloves, skates, and a CSA approved hockey/ringette helmet.

    Preschool/Child Public Sticks, Rings and Pucks (Under 12 Years)

  • Bring your full equipment, including stick, puck, or ring to work on puck handling and shooting skills.
  • All children under 8 years old must be accompanied by at least one adult supervisor at all times.
  • Participants under 18 years old must wear full hockey equipment, including helmets.
  • Note: No organized games and no slap shots allowed.
  • Full Hockey/Ringette Equipment Consists of:

    hockey/ringette pants, jill or jock, shin pads, shoulder pads, neck guard, elbow pads, gloves, skates, and a CSA approved hockey/ringette helmet.
