Drop In & Pre-Booked Shinny

Welcome to our Drop-In Shinny activities! We offer a variety of flexible skating opportunities to suit different age groups and schedules. Whether you’re looking for quality family time, a midday break, or a fun recreational skate, we have something for everyone.

Parent and Child Shinny Enjoy some quality time on the ice with your little ones! Our Parent and Child Shinny sessions are designed for families to bond and stay active together. Perfect for all skill levels, this is a great way to introduce kids to the game while having fun as a family. Parent & Child Shinny Hockey is designed for children aged 6-11 years and their parent/guardian. Provides an opportunity for parents and children to play together in a relaxed game situation. The program is geared towards children.

Adult Noon Hour Shinny Take a break from your busy day with our Adult Noon Hour Shinny. Whether you’re looking to stay fit or just need a midday escape, these sessions are ideal for adults of all skill levels. Join us for a quick skate during your lunch hour!

Adult Recreational Shinny Are you new to shinny or haven't been on the ice in awhile? Is so, this session is perfect for you. This is a slower paced, less intense version of our Adult Noon Hour Shinny.

Parent & Child Shinny

  • Parent & Child Shinny Hockey is designed for children aged 6-11 years and their parent/guardian.
  • Provides an opportunity for parents and children to play together in a relaxed game situation.
  • The program is geared towards children.
  • Full equipment is required for all children, including a CSA approved hockey helmet.
  • Helmets are mandatory for all participants.
  • Adults must be on the ice with the children, with a minimum ratio of 5 children to 1 adult.

    (GOALIES) Adult Noon Hour Shinny

    • Must be over 18 years to play.
    • Pre-booking is highly encouraged.
    • Check in at the Customer Experience desk is required.
    • Shinny is limited to 24 players and 2 goalies.
    • Full equipment including helmets is required.

      • This is for GOALIES ONLY, if you are player please select the Players Only option. On-line booking is encouraged and is allowed 7 days in advance. Two goalies are permitted free of charge with on-line sign-up encouraged to ensure you have a spot.

    (PLAYERS) Adult Noon Hour Shinny

    • Must be over 18 years to play.
    • Pre-booking is highly encouraged.
