The final step in becoming a certified lifeguard. Through hands on demonstrations and situational practice, NL candidates learn the profession of lifeguarding. Candidates must be 15 years old, have completed Bronze Cross, and hold a current Standard First Aid or AEC award to register. Please provide proof of prerequisites to the instructor on the first day of class. Your Lifesaving ID number can be used to proove certifications. Your ID is a 6-digit series of letters and numbers, located on the bottom right corner of any Lifesaving Society certification card.
